What happens in a technical scoping call
A scoping call is a working session with the engineer who would actually build your system — not a sales rep. We map your current workflow step by step: where documents arrive, who retypes them, which portals they end up in, and where errors cost money. Within 24 hours of the call you receive a written architecture blueprint with exact milestones and a fixed price. If we are not the right fit, we say so on the call and you keep the blueprint.
Lagariya Labs is a principal-led studio: one senior engineer takes on one to two projects per month. Every engagement starts with a mutual NDA, fixed milestone pricing in USD (with INR equivalents for Indian clients), full source-code ownership on final payment, and 30 days of hypercare support after deployment. Typical engagements range from a $1,500 fixed-scope technical audit to $3,000–$10,000 automation sprints, with monthly SLA retainers for ongoing operations across the GCC and India.
Scoping questions, answered
Do I need to prepare anything before the call?
No. Bring a rough description of the bottleneck — for example, how many documents your team processes daily and where they get stuck. Screenshots or sample files help but are optional, and everything shared is covered by NDA.
How is pricing fixed if every project is different?
After the call we break the build into verifiable milestones — intake pipeline, integrations, testing, deployment — each with a fixed price. You pay 50% to start and 50% only when the system is live and tested. The indicative ranges on our services pages reflect real past scopes, not placeholders.
Who will I actually work with?
Directly with founder and principal engineer Rahul Lagariya — the same person who shipped three production Android apps with 5,000–10,000+ Play Store downloads each. No account managers, no handoffs to junior teams.
What if we are outside India?
Most scoping calls run on GST/IST-friendly morning and evening windows that overlap with GCC business hours (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar). Pricing is quoted in USD with INR equivalents, and contracts support wire transfer and escrow terms.
What happens if the project is not a fit?
You still receive the architecture blueprint and an honest recommendation — including when that recommendation is to not build anything. Roughly a third of scoping calls end with advice rather than a proposal.
